Why Should we be Living Green?

To have a minimal effect on our planet! We have to firstly limit the amount of natural resources we are using and try and find ways to help our planet either keep up or replenish itself. At Living Green Designer Homes we can't help but wonder if we were to focus on materials that were able to become a part of our natural eco system at the end of their life cycle and provide nutrients then these are the materials we should focus on when building our homes.

If we are able to build homes using renewable or sustainable resources and then help the home occupant to use the passive solar design features we have incorporated into the home, together we will go a long way towards helping the environment.

As well as the environmental benefits there are other positives as well, electricity bills are reduced, water bills are minimised and our clever designs reduce the need for heating & cooling. So you are not only having less impact on our planet, the overall running cost of the home leaves you financially better placed to enjoy your lifestyle.
