Living Green Designer Homes was recommended by my architect who had worked with them previously. From the 1st meeting I appreciated their frank assessment of costs, their knowledge and suggestions. This created trust something which was enhanced through the project. They presented a detailed budget and reported against the budget as the building progressed but more importantly made recommendations to achieve great quality at best value without impacting the design integrity. Any design issues were dealt directly between myself and the team as my architect had retired. At every stage their communication and advice were 1st class, friendly and informed. Their dealings with difficult Council issues was professional and successful. Hand over was in August 2025. Any minor issues since then, they have dealt with immediately and without question

Most of our friends have asked about the building process when they visit and are amazed when we only have good things to say. LGDH were amazing throughout the whole process from sitting down with us over design, handling the council process and the quality is outstanding. The home was finished in 7 months from site set up and this included the Christmas period. Craig and his team involved us at every step and listened to our ideas and our concerns. Our house is designed to be very energy efficient and comfortable to live in and follows passive house principles and many builders did not want to take on such a project. No such issues with LGDH. I can’t praise the team highly enough they are just outstanding. On time, on budget and quality work what more could you ask for.

During the build they kept us fully informed of progress, any adjustments that need to be made with regular visual and verbal updates. The duration of the build (during covid) was exactly what they advised and without any hidden costs.
The energy efficient nature of the build and fixtures such as double glazing, window positioning to get the best from the seasons and solar panels have provided us with ongoing energy cost savings higher than we anticipated.
After the build Living Green Designer Homes were on hand to help with any small adjustments that were needed without fuss and in a timely manner.
