The cost to build a new home depends on the size of the home, the complexity, the site and the materials you use. Generally, homes built with Living Green Designer homes start from $2,400 per m2.

We will talk you through all the costs and provide you with multiple options throughout so you feel confident you are getting value for money.

We hear time and time again that clients have fallen in love with a design only to realise they can’t afford it. Bringing a builder in early or better yet engaging a company that does design & construct means you avoid that nightmare.

Being an experienced licensed builder, we can bring a practical point of view to the design right from the initial concept. Our Owner and Construction Manager Craig personally prepares some hand sketches based on a clients’ design brief before developing that concept with our Building Designer. Having this knowledge allows us to design to your budget right from the beginning, avoiding the heartache that can sometimes come from working solely with an Architect or Building Designer.

We charge a small initial design fee to cover the expenses involved with starting the process to build your home.

No, unfortunately we only design for our clients with the intention of building as well.

From start to finish you can expect it to take approximately 12 months to design & construct your home. We find the design phase & council approval generally takes around 6 month while the construction itself averages 6 months as well. Of course if it’s an overly large or complex build, the construction timeline may extend out to 9-12 months.
